Brian Parkhurst, PGA
Brian K. Parkhurst, PGA Member since 1997, serves as Executive Director for The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley. Brian has worked in the Southern Ohio PGA Section since 2003 and currently chairs the Golf in Schools Task Force. He is also a member of the Association Fundraising Professionals-Dayton Chapter.
Prior to joining The First Tee, Brian served as the Hall of Fame Golf Classic Chair for The Anthony Muñoz Foundation in 2009 and was a Golf Professional at TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, Ohio and Heritage Club in Mason, Ohio.
Amanda Zedrick joined the team at The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley in Spring 2012 with a professional background in non-profit and event management. Amanda is originally from Portage, Mich., where she grew up learning the game of golf from her father. She was a member of the Michigan State University Women's Golf Team from 2002-2006, and after graduating with a degree in marketing, Amanda went to work for the United States Golf Association in Colorado Springs, Colo. in the Grants & Fellowship Department. Prior to her involvement with The First Tee, Amanda worked as Associate Director with the Ohio Turf & Golf Trust, facilitating relationships and managing events within the regional golf associations.
Amanda also serves as the Badin High School Girls' Golf Coach and resides in Oxford, Ohio with husband Zac and their dog, Arnie.

Bob’s experience in leadership positions such as serving as the President of the Santa Barbara School Board, an Inner School Principal, the Executive Director of EPEC and his current role as Chairman of CleanEnergy4All Foundation position him well to strategically lead an organization. His work in the worlds of business and the non-profit sector have prepared him well for serving on the board of First Tee.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Boston University where he obtained his doctorate. He is the proud father of Olivia & Caitlin.

Doug Bohannon is vice president agency-sales for State Farm Insurance Companies in the North Central Market Area with responsibility for Southern and Western Ohio and a portion of Eastern Indiana.
Doug joined State Farm in 1983 as an agent in Erie, Pa. He was named agency manager in Paoli, Pa. in 1991 and agency field executive in Philadelphia, Pa., in 1995 and moved through various areas of leadership within the company during his 30 years of service. He has served as vice president – agency since 2004.
Doug received a bachelor's degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He earned the Life Underwriters Training Council fellowship (LUTCF) designation in 1993, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2001, the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2003, Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) in 2005, and Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF) in 2008.
Doug and his wife, Brenda, have one daughter and son-in-law: Erin and Cody, and two wonderful grandchildren.

Marty Hubbell is a partner in the law firm of Diehl & Hubbell, LLC, located in Lebanon, Ohio. He also serves as a part-time Magistrate for the City of Lebanon.

In July of 2012, Gary retired, after 25 years, as Director of National Field Service for The Hillman Group. It was at that time that he joined the Board of Directors of TFT of GMV. He and his wife, Carla, moved to the Cincinnati area from Sacramento, CA in 2003 and have lived in West Chester since then. His three children and seven grand children all live in Northern California. Gary and Carla are enjoying retirement very much. It has provided them the opportunity to travel, play golf and give something back from a life that has been so blessed. Gary volunteers ½ day a week at church and loves the time he is able spend with the kids of The First Tee.
Dr. Joseph Rubino
Wright State University School of Medicine
Joe and his wife Leslie are originally from Washington, D.C. They have resided in Oakwood, OH with their four children for the past 13 years. Joe is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Wright State University School of Medicine, specializing in Sports Medicine. He is a team physician for the University of Dayton. He has been involved with the YMCA of Greater Dayton before joining the Board with The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley.
George R. Simpson, CPA
George is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio and has experience in assurance, tax compliance and advisory work with top 50 National firm Clark Schaefer Hackett- international and corporate finance, accounting and tax compliance with Makino, a global manufacturer and distributor of highly complex milling and cutting machines and in business and management consulting practice with CPA and Advisory firm Brixey and Meyer. George served three years as the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Honor Flight, a national not for profit organization serving Veterans with affiliates in 41 states. George also served four years in the US Marine Corps.
Aimee Steimer, CPA
First America, Retired
Aimee Steimer, a University of Pittsburgh MBA and a CPA, currently serves on the boards of The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley, The Crable Foundation and The Sanderling Homes Association. Also in a volunteer capacity, she is an Assistant Coach for The First Tee, the current Treasurer of the Sanderling Homes Association, and the past Treasurer of The Crable Foundation.
Aimee retired as the Chief Financial Officer of First America Inc. and was previously an Audit Manager for the international accounting firm Grant Thornton. Now running her own consulting business, she provides financial and accounting services to small businesses, nonprofits and startups. Aimee is passionate about children, is committed to the mission of The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley, and is enthusiastic about growing the reach of the organization.

Ohio Casualty, Retired
Mike was born and raised in the Hudson Valley of New York State. He came to Ohio in 1969 to attend Ohio Wesleyan University. After graduation, he stayed in Ohio and worked for The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for 30 years. I retired in 2008. Since that time, Mike has committed himself to The First Tee programs, starting a program in Hamilton that now serves more than 100 kids every summer and has participants in the Eagle level. Mike is our chapter's first and only The First Tee Recognized Coach.
