Establishment
The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley began from affiliation with the Bob Kramer Youth Golf Academy (Middletown, Ohio) in 2004. We began programming in 2005 by serving 45 area youth.
Mission
To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
Vision
We believe golf changes kids' lives. Our The First Tee chapter will impact Greater Miami Valley youth by instilling life skills, core values and healthy habits through the inspirational coaching and mentoring of dedicated adults.
Participant Reach
Serving youth in Butler, Montgomery and Warren counties, our chapter reached 5,892 young people in 2012 through five affiliate programs and 13 National School Programs.
